When I moved to Alabama, the first real decorations I put up in my new apartment were cheap 4x6 prints of home, tacked to the wall. Unedited cell phone pictures of bridges, campsites, parking lots; the ones of friends and family had to wait for me to get frames - and shelves.
In a new place, a twelve-hour drive from almost everyone I knew, that was a lifeline. I started taking pictures thinking, "I want a version of this to keep."
I'm here to help you preserve memories. I want you to have pictures you love sharing, pictures you want on your profile and your loved ones want framed on their wall at home. I want you to look at yourself in these photos and think it's a version of you that you've been searching for.
Whether you want to commemorate an occasion in your life, you're about to move somewhere new and want to hold onto friends and places here, or you're looking for a professional headshot that represents you, I'd love to work together.
Bringing a friend and/or a change of outfit is allowed and encouraged! I want you to get the pictures that feel like you, and we'll talk about wardrobe ahead of time. If you have any other questions, please reach out---

1) You send me an email at jrockphotographs@gmail.com, or an Instagram message @Jeremy__Rock. You tell me what you're looking for, and if the date is important, when.
2) We talk about the vision. Outfits, locations, goals, options. References and examples are a huge help!
3) We set a date and sign a contract. The photos are mine to use as examples of my work and edit how I choose, you can use/print/post them with credit, and I will never sell them in any capacity without your direct consent.
4) We check in a day or two before the shoot to talk about weather. Do we have a backup location, should we aim for a different time, and so on.
5) We meet, walk around, talk a little more about what you want out of the experience. We shoot and go home.
6) I edit! You get some early looks within a day or so to confirm the editing direction, and then the full gallery sometime in the next week.
7) You see the results! We talk about if/where you want the pictures to be shown off, and we're done.
